Mixed Media (Pastel and Photography)

Global Citizen is a two-part study (diptych) created during the height of the pandemic as a response to global upheaval. By documenting these two distinct canvases together, this piece explores the shared space between individual experience and collective identity. The dominant red palette reflects a period of universal intensity and pain, while the interlocking planes—developed from initial photographic studies and graphite sketches—symbolize a world attempting to reconstruct itself. The dual-panel format emphasizes the sense of fragmentation and the eventual rejoining of our global community.
